I start a new sewing class soon on October 20, 2012. It's a make your own costume class. Should be pretty fun. I have found some cute costumes online and I plan to teach my students how to make them. I found most of them on, you guessed it, Pinterest. I also made some costumes for my daughter's pre-school play and got some ideas from doing that as well. I had to modify them to make them my own but I thought I would let you all know how it goes and maybe post a few tutorials on what we did a a class to make these fun costumes.

Princess Dress: Once you have made one, you
can make them all. Use the same pattern
to make the as many princess dresses you desire! Loved the idea from this etsy site (mykidsdrawers). I think I am going to use the costume satin though, and some tulle and maybe some organza to make them a little bit more fancy.
Tutu Dress: Whether she dresses up as a super hero or a
flower this dress is sure to be the cutest thing on the block.
Stunning Knight: Dress up your little knight in this
easy to make knight costume with a robe of valor and matching shiny helmet.
Super hero cape: These capes can be made plain or with
the super hero symbol of your choice.
They are reversible so he can go from batman to superman in a flash. Mask pattern will also be provided for you to
take.
